Here at Lost In The Pit, we will never miss an opportunity to talk about our favourite band, Ghost, who took home a Swedish Grammi for Hard Rock/Metal Album of The Year for their latest album 'Impera'.

The band were also nominated for "Album Of The Year" and "Artist Of The Year" but sadly missed out on those categories. Never the less, we were treated to a slightly tipsy acceptance speech by frontman Tobias Forge.

"For some reason I thought this would happen earlier in the evening. When I realized it would happen a bit later... as you know, it takes a lot of teamwork to make a record, everything from getting the record together sonically to getting it out in physical form. I've worked with a lot of people and halfway through this evening, I realized, 'Fuck we haven't been mentioned yet. Our category hasn't been mentioned! I'm gonna be way too drunk!"

Typically of the humble frontman, Tobias brought all his producers on stage to make sure he could remember who to thank and give recognition towards. Those involved were Klas Åhlund, Salem Al Fakir, Vincent Pontare and Max Grahn.

You can watch the full speak with English subtitles here:

Ghost are due to release their new covers ep 'Phantomime' on the 18th May and will start their next European tour on the 21st May.
